The Market Sales Manager is a service-driven position designed to impact in the community by proactively selling the bank’s products and services while also being heavily involved in community outreach.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide guidance for a defined group of branches (Market) to achieve targets for client acquisition and deposit gathering
  • Sales support for a defined group of branches
  • Establish and participate in TBK@Work events
  • Proactively conduct business calls in the community
  • Refer merchant services
  • Involved in community events
  • Create sales opportunities outside of the branch
  • Refer sales opportunities within the branch to the appropriate team member
  • Gather all necessary documentation for accounts to be opened
  • Attain sales goals; identify, acquire and grow new and existing banking relationships, meeting production volume as designated
  • Utilize the designed protocols to meet clients’ perceived and unperceived financial needs
  • Initiate and participate in business development including proactive activities such as canvassing, community service, and other events
  • Initiate proactive outbound calls including internal lists and targeted prospects
  • Perform appropriate on-boarding activities for all new and existing relationships, including follow-up calls
  • Cross-sell all products and services to meet clients’ needs and achieve strategic objectives, cross-sell ratios, and retention goals
  • Initiate and maintain strong referral relationships within the market
  • Maintain the required knowledge of products, services, policies and procedures, and other compliance requirements that pertain to the Retail Bank

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 + years in a supervisory and/or managerial role preferred
  • 3 + years in a retail banking environment preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of consumer banker, with an emphasis on sales

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Must possess utmost professional qualities, high energy, results driven, and self-motivation
  • Evidence of leadership abilities, a strong work ethic, detail orientation, and organizational skills
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal
  • Travel to various TBK Bank locations within a defined market will be required
