The Retail Regional Sales Manager will oversee and direct a group of Market Sales Managers and help a region of bank branches achieve sales and service goals. This position requires broad knowledge of: retail banking management, operations, marketing, product knowledge, and sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead all areas of service and sales for a defined group of branches
  • Direct management of Retail Market Sales Managers
  • Participates in joint calling efforts with team members and partners
  • Proactively hires and recruits retail sales team members
  • Develops and maintains strong community relationships
  • Understands branch P&Ls and drives to operate efficiently
  • Identifies and shares best practices to increase the overall productivity of branches
  • Motivates and mentors managers and team members within an assigned region to sell products and services in order to establish profitable client relationships
  • Participates in branch meetings to provide ongoing direction in regard to sales and customer service
  • Exercises pricing exceptions for the region in order to gain and/or retain profitable relationships
  • Communicate and implement new ideas and marketing strategies within region to improve sales, marketing, and community development
  • Works closely with the Regional Operation Managers and Commercial Lenders, to ensure that a team philosophy is delivered and branch goals are exceeded
  • Accountable for P&L, sales targets, and budget projections
  • Train and coach to behaviors that will exceed production and operational expectations
  • Provides quality customer service to existing and potential Bank customers; handles escalated customer concerns
Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3 + years in a supervisory and/or managerial role preferred
  • 5 + years in a retail banking environment required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of consumer banker, with an emphasis on sales

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Must possess utmost professional qualities, high energy, results driven, and self-motivation
  • Evidence of leadership abilities, a strong work ethic, detail orientation, and organizational skills
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal
  • Travel to various TBK Bank locations within a defined region will be required
