Join the CB PMO as a senior-level program manager within the Consumer Banking Project Management Office (PMO), focused on successfully delivering complex solutions for our business partners and customers. The CB PMO is seeking a talented and experienced Program Manager with a track record of success in complex and fast moving environments, collaborating with innovative partners and creative teams in waterfall and/or agile approaches and who will put our customers at the center of everything we do. Candidate should be a self-starter, eager to learn and continue to grow and develop professionally, able to multi-task, work extremely well under tight deadlines, and be comfortable working with large, multi-disciplined technology and business teams.

As part of this team, you will be responsible for managing all activities and people associated with the delivery of medium to complex projects and programs across community banking and may cross over channels. The role may manage a program or series of projects associated with a specific business strategy to obtain benefits and controls.

* Leading program/project teams and managing all activities in a project life-cycle (initiation, planning, executing/controlling, and closing) associated with high visibility programs/projects that are long-term, across one or more lines of business and carry a substantial impact to the relevant businesses
* Extensive financial management of a program which includes building business cases, partnering with finance, evaluating benefits, tracking actuals vs. forecast
* Interacts with senior leadership and major stakeholders to establish strategic plans and objectives for programs or projects
* Execute end to-end program or project management using the Enterprise Methodologies, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end
* Communicate with all levels of the organization to reinforce and deliver on strategic plans and objectives for programs or projects
* Creates and delivers presentations on program or project goals and plans, including progress reports
* Potentially sourcing, negotiating and managing outside vendors
* Creates and delivers presentations on program or project goals and plans, including progress reports
* Ensures program/project-related risks are managed according to the Project Management Policy

The Candidate
A Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate:
* Communication skills - ability to synthesize information and communicate relevant updates on progress and status of projects and initiatives, both through written and spoken word. 
* Influencing Skills - a proven ability as an effective and compelling communicator both virtually and in person with team members, peers and critical stakeholders across the organization 
* Relationship Management - ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with multiple line and business partners/peers with differing perspectives, experiences and business objectives 
* Strategic Consulting - Strong credibility with line and business partners through demonstrating the ability to think and consult strategically, organize and synthesize different points into a coherent story and suggested direction.
* Change management -ability to help lead and champion change while also continuously seeking and inspiring opportunities for improvement 


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, project delivery, project methodologies, digital product/program management, strategic planning or implementation
  • 3+ years program management experience

  • Ability to develop and execute business vision, strategies, and goals
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Financial services industry experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management and implementation in a financial services environment
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Project management methodology experience

* Proven success with change management processes
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; expertise in communicating with all levels of the organization
* Experience partnering on technology solutions and with risk partners such as Compliance, Legal, or Operational Risk Management
* Experience managing all aspects of a large project/program budget
* Ability to work with others collaboratively for team success, team player with demonstrated success in leading, influencing, motivating and building strong internal/external business relationships in a heavily-matrixed organization
* Actively planning and facilitating meetings to drive the implementation of projects
* Demonstrated ability to draft documentation and utilize resources/research to assist in development of project artifacts and supporting materials
* Proven track record of leading medium to complex projects on time and on budget utilizing disciplined project management and organization skills
* Ability to synthesize information to identify key risks, customer impact, financial implications, delays that could impact delivery, and issues that pose material risk to the project or business
* Ability to understand problems, identify solutions and develop clear options and recommendations
* Reliable, results driven individual capable of completing tasks with little direction and oversight required
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Project and Visio)

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
